The N690 Oak Carver is a handcrafted woodcarving knife designed for controlled cuts and detailed carving work.
The blade is made from N690 stainless steel, hardened to approximately 59–60 HRC. N690 is a high-quality Austrian blade steel known for its good edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. It holds a sharp edge well while offering the durability needed for regular carving.
Despite its 4 mm spine, the blade is ground very thin toward the cutting edge, allowing precise cuts and efficient wood removal. Its narrow, pointed shape is particularly useful for detailed carving. The rounded spine provides a comfortable resting surface for the thumb during controlled cuts.
The slim handle is made from oak wood and shaped for comfortable handling.
The knife comes with a handmade leather pouch sheath, decorated with simple hand tooling and stitched entirely by hand.
