Oak Utility EDC – Reclaimed High-Speed Steel

€190.00

The Oakwood Utility is a handcrafted fixed-blade knife made from recycled industrial materials.

The blade is made from a reclaimed mechanical planer blade, using high-speed tool steel originally designed for cutting and machining wood. High-speed steels are known for their high wear resistance and ability to maintain a sharp cutting edge. The steel offers some corrosion resistance but is not fully stainless and should be kept clean and dry.

The blade features a full flat grind, making it suitable for everyday cutting tasks, light bushcraft, and woodcarving.

The handle is made from oak wood and has a rounded, ergonomic shape that sits comfortably in the hand.

The knife comes with a handmade black leather sheath, featuring hand stitching and decorative hand tooling.
