The Mini Brass Higonokami is a handcrafted miniature folding knife inspired by the traditional Japanese Higonokami design.
Its blade is made from N690 stainless steel, carefully hardened and tempered for a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and everyday cutting performance. The estimated hardness is approximately 59–60 HRC.
The handle is made from brass with a hand-textured surface, giving each knife its own character and a distinctive tactile finish. A hand-forged rivet connects the blade and handle, adding another small detail of traditional craftsmanship.
Despite its miniature dimensions, the knife is fully functional. The blade can be opened easily with the thumb, while the compact shape makes it convenient for small everyday cutting tasks.
An integrated attachment hole allows the knife to be carried on a keychain, necklace, or attached to a belt. Brass will naturally develop a patina over time, giving the handle even more character with use.
