Railroad Bowie

Product Name: Railroad Bowie

This Bowie knife is hand-forged from a railroad clip, a high-carbon steel comparable to 1060–1070 carbon steel. Hardened and tempered to approximately 57–58 HRC, the blade offers a tough, impact-resistant edge suited for heavy cutting tasks.

The handle construction follows traditional Bowie-era materials and aesthetics. A brass guard protects the hand, followed by stacked 19th-century leather, a brass spacer, stabilized steamed acacia wood, and a final brass spacer. The through tang is rear-peened for structural security.
