SanMai Bushcrafter

The SanMai Bushcrafter is a large bushcraft knife forged from recycled materials. The blade is constructed in a san-mai style laminate. The cutting core is made from repurposed bandsaw blade steel, most commonly comparable to L6 or similar high-carbon alloy steels, known for toughness and good edge retention. Tempered at 200°C, the blade reaches an approximate hardness of 59 HRC.

The outer layers are forged from an old concrete screw, adding structural strength and a distinct layered character to the blade.

The handle is made from steamed acacia wood, a dense and durable hardwood well suited for outdoor tools. It is hand-riveted for strength and reliability. At the end of the handle there is a lanyard hole, allowing the attachment of paracord if desired.

A custom leather sheath can be made on request.
