Handforged Nakiri / Teak Handle

This is a handforged Nakiri made from a reclaimed railroad E-clip. The steel is a high-carbon spring steel, hardened to approximately 60–61 HRC. It takes a very fine edge and is easy to resharpen, making it well suited for regular kitchen use.

The blade is ground very thin, allowing fast and clean cuts, especially when working with vegetables. The Nakiri shape with its straight edge is designed for push cuts and efficient chopping on the board.

The handle is made from a combination of teak wood and steamed acacia, shaped for a simple and secure grip.
